1. If you are already registered to vote:

a. If you requested and received an Absent Voter Ballot by mail, fill it out and return it to your clerk’s office no later than 8 pm on Election Day. Since ballots must be received by the clerk’s office by the 8 pm Election Day deadline, it’s best to return it in-person if possible.

– or-

b. Request an Absent Voter Ballot no later than 4 pm Monday, August 3rd in-person at your city or township clerk’s office (find your clerk’s office here). You can request a ballot and vote absentee in the clerk’s office.  

– or-

c. Vote in-person at your assigned polling place on Tuesday, August 4th. Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. Remember to wear a facemask and keep six feet apart from others.

2. If you are not registered to vote:

Register and vote in-person at your city or township clerk’s office (find your clerk’s office here) no later than 8 pm on Election Day.

 

Remember to bring a photo ID such as a Michigan driver’s license or state-issued ID card to register or vote.
