At the direction of the AEPC Executive Committee, Remedy Analytics (Remedy) is conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) services. The RFP seek bids with an effective date of July 1, 2019, given that AEPC’s agreement with CVS/Caremark expires on June 30, 2019. The status of the RFP responses, which were due on October 26, 2018, is as follows:
RFP Responses Received:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM)
- CVS/Caremark
- Envision
- Optum Rx (granted an extension to October 31, 2018…Optum requested an extension to mid-November)
Declined to Bid:
- CitizensRx (added at request of MUCH)
- Express Scripts, Inc. (BCBSM, who uses Express Scripts for prescription drugs, has submitted a bid)
- Magellan Rx
