As we close-out the month of April, 100 million Americans are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the CDC’s tracker. That’s around 38% of the U.S. adult population — and 55% of the adult population has had at least one shot. Public health experts warn that the current vaccination numbers are not sufficient to extinguish the COVID-19 virus in the United States. The need to conquer the virus throughout the world is critical, as highlighted by the current tragic situation in India.
This Weekend Reading Series begins with Just the Vax, with articles on a variety of vaccine topics. Next, check out Beyond COVID, with information on long haul COVID, missed care and more. Do not miss Nothing to Sneeze At – yes, it’s allergy season. Last, but not least, check out Soup and Sandwich, Fish Sticks & Paint It White!
