As COVID-19 continues to impact Americans’ daily lives, people seek to maintain some sense of normalcy or to establish a “new normal.”  New activities at home are discovered, and once forgotten pastimes revived. Visiting with family and friends now often takes place via an electronic platform rather than over a meal. Yet amidst all of changes and challenges brought on by COVID-19, many will celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday – although likely in a different way than in prior years.

The articles for this Weekend Reading series provide information about the impact of COVID-19 on youth, including an emerging concern that cases of a new pediatric multi-system inflammatory syndrome may be related to the novel coronavirus.  Take time to check out the Remembering Mom as well as Feel Like a Kid Again sections!
